Event Overview
I open up my studio one weekend every year. It's your chance to check out the behind the scenes of my studio, see what new paintings I have, what is in progress and chat about books, home rennovation and all the other non-art things that come up during a normal studio visit. RSVP so I can get enough food and drinks and because I do have a cap on the number of attendees (last year Friday evening was pretty booked). Stay as long or as little as you like.

Bring your questions, an art loving friend, and room for some appetizers and drinks!
Artworks Featured
Artwork will be updated 1-2 weeks before the event, here are the works I have finished in my studio. There will also be a bunch of paintings in various states of progress. The Open Studio event gives you an early access for collectors (of course, you don't have to be a collector to come, you can just love art!)
Visiting Nicole's Studio
When visiting Nicole's studio, you have 2 options to enter, in front of the house or in the back of the house. Both ways have 4 stairs with railings. There is no handicap-accessible entrance (sorry, old house!). ​You can park on the street in front of the house or in the back in the Methodist Church parking lot.
Used to be Dr. Bell's dentist office. There is street parking outside the front.

Peak in the gardens during your studio visit
You can park here or at the Methodist Church parking lot which is behind this.
Push the button on the gate and walk down the sidewalk to the porch and into the kitchen and then the studio is the rest of the way into the house on the first floor on the left.

Commissioning a painting
I get asked about commissioning paintings often, I take a couple commissions a year. More info in this document here.

Buying a painting
Paintings are available at my studio, on my online shop, or at any of my galleries (If you send me your criteria like size, series etc, I can send you what I have where).

Children and pets
Please no young children, oil paints are out and too easy to get to. I have a 3 year old and 9 month old, and I'll have them out of the studio as well (the baby gates will be put away for this event). I do have a dog, Tootsie, but she will be staying at her sister's house as she is sometimes a bit too friendly / high energy.

More Info About Open Studios
This is the 3rd yearly Open Studio and it's a lot of fun! I'll have a mix of wine, beer, tea, coffee, and appetizers like cheese crackers, veggies and dip, and something with chocolate.
Finished artwork is all through my home/studio so part of this studio visit is also a bit of a home tour, and as my husband and I have spent many years renovating this house and studio from a dentist office and apartment back to a house (+ studio). Most of the artwork will be on the first floor but there will be some on the second floor as well. The gardens are also open, so feel free to grab a drink, some food and wander around. And I'll be in my studio for questions or to show you works in progress.

Other Studio Visits
The Open Studio is just one way to visit my studio where I open up my studio and have drinks and snacks for all. If you want to visit my studio another time, please make an appointment. I can host both in person and virtual visits.
